Priest in Charge
Mother Lisa joined St. Andrew’s as Priest in Charge on September 1, 2020. A Jacksonville native, Lisa has a Bachelors in English Literature and a Juris Doctor from Florida State University. She worked as an attorney in insurance and finance prior to pursuing her call to ministry. Mtr. Lisa returned to the Diocese of Florida in 2018 after completing her Master of Divinity at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, and served her curacy at All Saints Episcopal Church in Jacksonville.
Mtr. Lisa is Spiritual Director of Happening for the Diocese of Florida, a member of the Diocesan Commission for Evangelism and Church Growth, President-Elect for UCOM, and Producer of the podcasts A Morning at the Office, An Evening at Prayer, and Daily Prayer from Forward Movement. She married her husband, Jordan, in 2009, and they have one Bassador (a Basset Hound/Labrador rescue) named Lily.
The Reverend Deacon
Deacon Mike and his family were members of St. Andrew's from 1985 to 1999. After a job transfer and absence, they returned to St. Andrew's in 2010. Mike is married to Debbie, who is retired from St. Mary's Episcopal Church and Outreach Mission. Mike and Debbie have 2 children, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. His diaconal duties include assisting with services and helping out with parish pastoral care and visitation needs. Mike has an active Hospice ministry, providing care for Hospice patients at home and in long term care facilities.
Mike's other interests include reading, music and exercising, but his favorite leisure time activity is hanging out with his grandkids. Mike works as a self-employed real estate appraiser. In previous lives he was a banker and a sales manager.
Minister of Music
Jane Daugherty has been an active chorister for many years. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1972 and a Master of Arts in Teaching Music from Jacksonville University in 1995, where her primary instrument was flute.
Following retirement from AT&T, Jane pursued life as a church musician, studying organ with Virginia Black, Mary Conley Holladay, and Dr. Laura Ellis. From 2012-2019 Jane worked as a Preschool Music Teacher at St. Mark’s Ark on Jacksonville’s Southside. In May 2019 Jane received a Master’s Degree in Church Music from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, OH.
Tracy is originally from Maine and a veteran of the US Navy. She has lived in Cuba (Guantanamo Bay), Connecticut (Groton), Virginia (Newport News), and Florida (Jacksonville). Tracy and her husband, also a Navy vet, have 4 children: Andrew, Madison, Olivia, and Isabella.
Tracy has varied work experiences in different areas of the military, non-profits, the Department of Defense, government contractor’s, and in Duval County Schools. Tracy is involved in her family's parish and her hobbies include spending time with her family, going to the movies, getting together with friends, researching somewhere new to take her family, and going to the beach.
